Damian is a senior executive with experience in business and technical management in the Aviation Industry in the area of Commercial Aviation. He has over 30 years’ experience in airline engineering, MRO, OEM and independent Engineering consulting environments. He has led teams through business transformation with a focus on business improvement. He has excellent program and people management skills.
Damian also has a strong technical background with a PhD in mechanical engineering specializing in fracture mechanics and composite structure. He has an excellent track record of solving difficult technical problems through a strong background in the fundamentals of engineering science. He is currently an independent FAA DER (Structures, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance) and an EASA CVE (Structures, Fatigue and Damage Tolerance, Interiors).

This has been gained through working in a variety of disciplines from Maintenance Repair & Overhaul, Aircraft Manufacturer and Commercial Airlines. John has a highly respected profile within the Global markets. A strategic thinker with excellent leadership, business acumen and first-class project management skills. John has successfully managed, developed and motivated large teams to consistently achieve their objectives, consistently delivering on significant budgets. John has first rate negotiation and relationship management skills which have been honed over his 40 years in Aerospace with a proven track record of managing people and concluding transactions.
